In 1995 Mr. Dan Renner started Engine Ecology after running across a device utilizing the 1970s patent design of a 100-year old fuel burn enhancing technology. After using the device in a couple vehicles, he decided he could do better and started on his 18-year and 750 vehicle R&D process to redesign the device for better performance.
In the US, Mr. Renner ended up with over 300 test users before he was invited to the Philippines in 2009. He accepted this offer since even California did not test emissions on diesel vehicles, yet the Philippines had been doing so for years and this was envisioned as the first market for the "Clean Turbo".
After he returned the results from the first batch of trucks from the Philippine vehicle registration agency (LTO) was an average drop of 58% in the diesel emissions with a simple opacity (particles in parts per million of air) test. Mr. Renner continue his research to perfect the design and after another 750 vehicles had been tested, including Philippine LTO testing where the device was found to reduce diesel and gasoline emissions 35-80%, he had the best he could do with what he had to work with and applied for a Philippine patent which was approved in 2013.
Now with a working product, it is time for it to be used...
